Estes Legacy Leaders

Estes Legacy Leaders Fund is the Community Foundation's newest giving group. It was established by community leaders and the Estes Valley Local Advisory Board to encourage charitable giving among local residents’.

In September 2005, Judy Lamy hosted the group’s first event at her Estes Park home to encourage community members to join. The group hosted its second outreach/social event in April 2006 at the Treeline Home Collection store, owned by Steve and Heidi Todd. The Estes Legacy Leaders endowment currently stands at more than $7,000. The group will soon begin distributing grants to worthwhile nonprofit organizations throughout the Estes Valley.

To encourage participation by everyone in the Estes Valley, the group has established three levels of membership.
