Loveland Generations

Loveland Generations has awarded $60,000 in grants to the community since its inception in 2001. The Loveland Generations Fund is valued at $90,000.

This group of community-minded citizens supports organizations serving youth, adults and seniors in Loveland. Grants made in the fall of 2007 totaled $10,000; grant recipients include Disabled Resource Services, Thompson Valley Preschool, Loveland Berthoud Interfaith Hospitality Network, Meals on Wheels, and Loveland Youth Gardeners.

The group's most recent gathering was hosted at the home of Ann and Dick Hanson. Previous gatherings were held at the home of Rosalie and Phil Lier, the home of Dennis and Gail Daughtery, the Loveland Museum and Gallery, the studio of sculptor George Lundeen, and the home of Bruce and Muriel Hach.

"Loveland Generations allows individuals to leverage their donations by joining together with other like-minded individuals. Together, we are building an endowment that will support the needs of our community for generations yet to come. Through regular social events hosted by Generations, we become better acquainted, better understand the unmet needs of the Loveland community, and see first-hand how our leveraged contributions have made a difference."
